Pulham Primary School is a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School, founded in 1852 and located on the outskirts of Pulham Market. It serves mainly the villages of Pulham Market and Pulham St. Mary and the surrounding villages. In addition we will welcome children from other areas, providing there are sufficient places.

There are five classrooms, three of which are in the Victorian building which was extensively refurbished when the school was extended in 1990. A fourth classroom is in the extended part of the school which also contains a large sports hall, kitchen, cloakrooms and office accommodation. The fifth classroom is in a mobile located close to the main buildings.

The school also benefits from a large playing field overlooking the open countryside, and also has use of the swimming pool at Archbishop Sancroft High School in Harleston.

The Governors and staff value links with the communities served by the school, and especially the links with the Church through the Voluntary Controlled status.

Involvement in the community is very much part of school life with the children participating in several local events throughout the year including Pulham Market Music Day and the Carnival.
